Volta School is an extremely diverse school with over 20 languages being spoken by the students, families and staff. As teachers we encourage students to continue reading, writing and speaking in their native languages. To foster this growth, students can check out books in many different languages right here at Volta in our library located on the second floor. We at Volta recognize the importance of aiding our students to maintain their native languages and increase their fluency in both languages. At Volta School culture and language play a very important role in our teaching. Just ask your children about the different themes they are exploring in their classrooms! Feel free to stop by after school and check out our interesting display of bulletin boards decorating the hallways!
